Tears For Fears are to release their first single in 14 years in March.

"Closest Thing To Heaven" is taken from reunited duo Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith's new album "Everybody Loves A Happy Ending" which will be released in April.

Tears For Fears first hit was in 1983 with "Mad World", recently taken to No 1 in the UK charts by Gary Jules and Michael Andrews.

Tears for Fears split up in 1991 as Curt went onto pursue a solo career while Roland released two more albums under the name Tears For Fears.

Meanwhile a new compilation, "Tears Roll Down: Greatest Hits", containing the original version of "Mad World" along with 11 other hits, has just been released.
