Friends to reunite for TV one-off
The cast of the hit show Friends have been given two million dollars each to make a TV special that will take place one year after the programme ends.
According to reports, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and Davis Schwimmer have all agreed to make a 90-minute film, which they’ll start shooting as soon as they finish their last episode of the series.
“We knew it would be tough to put the Friends stars together again once they’d gone their separate ways. So we put an offer on the table to persuade them to film the reunion right away,” says a spokesman for American network, NBC.
The special will reportedly revolve around a New York get-together for the group over Thanksgiving dinner.
