Hillman canal plunge tops TV viewing list

Coronation Street killer Richard Hillman helped the soap to become the biggest rated show of last year.

The episode in which he drove the family car, with his wife and children inside, into a Manchester canal, was the most popular show of 2003, attracting 19.4 million viewers.
