Report: Britney Spears marries childhood friend

Pop star Britney Spears has married a childhood friend from Louisiana, according to news reports.

The 22-year-old singer married Jason Allen Alexander early yesterday at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, according to People.com, the online arm of the Time Warner publication. He is from Kentwood, Louisiana, it said.
