Cinema lover takes over Belfast multi-plex

There's a change of ownership for Belfast's first multi-plex, the Dublin Road UGC Cinema.

Michael McAdam, that one-man exhibition genius who several years ago put his home up to achieve his lifelong dream of owning his own cinema, has added the previously French-owned theatre to his growing stable of venues.

He owns cinemas at Yorkgate and Glengormley in Belfast and one in Maghera and he's looking for at least one more.
