Kate Winslet and her husband Sam Mendes were “overjoyed” today after the actress gave birth to a baby boy.

The Oscar-nominated star of Titanic and Sense and Sensibility gave birth to the 7lb 3oz boy on December 22 in New York, her publicist said.
