Ozzy dilemma for MTV bosses

MTV bosses are trying to decide what to do about this latest development with Ozzy Osbourne and his quad bike accident.

Producers of The Osbournes don’t know if they want to show the former Black Sabbath frontman’s rehabilitation – which could take six months – on the hit TV reality show. They can’t decide of it is suitable “prime time” material for broadcast.

A source tells gossip website The Scoop: "We already went through Sharon Osbourne’s recovery from cancer. We don't want (the show) to become General Hospital."

Ozzy fell off the bike at his English estate in Buckinghamshire, leaving him with six broken ribs and a cracked vertebra in his neck. He has only recently been taken off a ventilator to aid his breathing.

An MTV spokesperson says: "I know there are cameras around, whether or not they are actually filming is something that MTV would decide with the family. Clearly we want Ozzy to get better. That comes first."
