Eminem hunts for shady insider who stole songs

Eminem and his record label Interscope have launched a hunt to find out who in the rapper’s camp stole three unfinished tracks for his next album and tried to sell them on the internet, music insiders say.

“He has a very close-knit group of people he works with and he knows everybody who goes in and out of that studio,” a source told the New York Post.

“About a week and a half ago somebody copied three unfinished raps into CDs and tried to sell them on eBay.”

Interscope executives saw the tracks up for auction and contacted eBay, who removed them from the site.

“Every single person in Em’s entourage is being interviewed,” said the source. “Every one of Em’s managers, friends or advisers who had access to the recording studio is now under surveillance.”

While the tracks are a secret, insiders say they could contain lyrics slamming owners of a rap magazine who have spearheaded a campaign to discredit Eminem.
