Good Boy! Is such a poor film

Good Boy!

Cert: Universal

Ho-Ho-Ho … who's a good boy, then?

Not anyone associated with this mess of a kiddie's comedy adventure in which a terrier called Hubble (voiced by Broderick) is discovered by young Owen (Aiken) … only Hubble is not of this Earth - much like the dismal script - since he comes from - wait for it - the Dog Star. His mission is to find out why dogs here allowed humans to grab the upper hand - or paw - since this was not the way it was meant to be.

Ho-Ho-Ho, indeed!

Well, for all of us cat lovers, it's true dogs come from outer space and have left their gray cells far behind - dogs, it's said, are a state of doing; cats are a state of being - but even the daftest mutt would be onto his agent for getting him involved in such a poor film (even the usually reliable FX are naff).

Kiddies might like it, but for those adults forced to sit through it it's going to be a very bad experience.
