Brad Pitt injury delays film start

The start date of the Ocean’s Eleven sequel, Ocean’s 12, has been postponed for a month because co-star Brad Pitt suffered an Achilles’ heel injury while filming the Greek epic Troy.

The delay allows the film’s producer and star George Clooney to help his father Nick Clooney in his bid to be elected to Congress as the representative for Kentucky.

“I don’t want to overdo my presence but I want to support him as best I can from afar,” he told columnist Army Archerd.

He said he planned to hold fund-raising events in both Los Angeles and Washington D.C. while also taking time off to fly to Scotland to visit the set of The Jacket, the film which he and partner Steven Soderbergh are producing.
