Thurman becomes a fan of John Woo

Uma Thurman did her homework while preparing for her role as an assassin in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill – and it paid off in more ways than one.

Tarantino had assigned Thurman to watch some of the films of director John Woo that had inspired him, and after her research Thurman was cast in Woo’s new film Paycheck, which opens this month.
