Farrell stabs co-star in Alexander accident

Colin Farrell got a little too much into his method acting on the set of his latest film Alexander when he left a co-star dripping blood after he accidentally stabbed him during a fight scene.

The Hollywood hunk stabbed through Gary Stretch’s protective padding and slashed his abdomen as the two men filmed a violent scene in Oliver Stone’s historic film.

Stretch’s injuries aren’t considered serious and doctors allowed him to return to work the following day.

He says, "It was a very minor wound. It's one of those movies where these kind of things happen.

"We've all had a few bangs and scratches."
