Vinnie in court over 'air rage' incident

Actor and former footballer Vinnie Jones appears in court today charged with an alleged “air rage” incident in which he is accused of assaulting a fellow passenger.

The 38-year-old faces charges of drunkenness on an aircraft, using threatening, abusive or insulting words and common assault on a male passenger,

Jones was travelling in the first-class cabin of a Virgin Atlantic plane from Heathrow to Tokyo when the incident is alleged to have taken place on June 1 this year.

The star of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and Mean Machine will appear before Uxbridge Magistrates Court at 10am.
