Tyler stunned by Affleck popularity

Lord Of The Rings beauty Liv Tyler had no idea her pal Ben Affleck was so popular until she worked with him again on the set of the film Jersey Girl.

Tyler and Affleck had first worked together on Armageddon, long before the days of 'Bennifer', so Liv was stunned by the number of fans who turned up just to watch Ben arrive on the set.

Liv says, "On my very first day at work we were doing this scene at a diner. Everybody else had been shooting for a couple of weeks already and I come walking in - it was six in the morning - and there was at least 300 people outside of this diner all waiting for Ben.

"By the middle of the day there was like 1,000 people in the street. There were these huge news vans with antennas sticking up and paparazzi, people handing their crying babies to you to hold, and I just looked at him and I was like, 'Benji, I didn't know you were so famous.' It was like he was The Beatles, people were going nuts, screaming and crying. I've never seen anything like it."
