Justin Timberlake has reportedly spent £1m (€1.4m) in a late-night shopping spree in Harrods.

Justin Timberlake has reportedly spent £1m (€1.4m) in a late-night shopping spree in Harrods.

He spent four-and-a-half hours buying Christmas presents after playing a gig at Earls' Court in London.

Britian's Daily Express says Timberlake was joined by around 80 friends and assistants. The newspaper adds he needed two coaches to take away all the gifts.

He reportedly bought designer clothes, diamond jewellery, watches, electronic goods and the high-tech toys.

The newspaper says Timberlake personally asked Harrods owner, Mohamed Al-Fayed, if he would open the shop for him on Saturday night.

A store spokesman said: "He arrived at 11pm after playing a concert and spent around four-and-a-half hours in the shop with 80 friends and members of his entourage.

"I can't tell you exactly what he purchased, but he had a good look around and bought a lot of stuff. He was very nice to our staff and he would certainly be welcome to come again."
