An off-beat - and fairly gloomy - drama set in Glasgow and Denmark ... too off-beat at times to fully satisfy.
Our hero (Sives) is bent on doing himself in until Alice (Henderson) enters his life and changes it. We then have the treat of a rich mixture of melodrama and wit ... and some excellent playing by a talented, quirky cast. The film looks good, too.
An interesting cinematic experience all round.
