The search is on for a young Britney

Britney Spears is overseeing an America-wide casting call to find a singer-actress to portray her in a film she and her mother Lynne are making based on their book A Mother’s Gift.

The pop star, who turns 22 on Tuesday, is too old to play her younger self so a search has been launched for a suitable actress.
