Kudrow to take on producer role

Friends star Lisa Kudrow will be continuing her ties with comedy television series when the hit show’s tenth and final season goes off the air early next year.

She is to produce a weekly comedy series called Grounded For Life, which she describes as a workplace comedy in the vein of The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

“Basically it’s about a woman trying to maintain her sanity and self-respect in a modern corporate environment,” she says.

The show will star Kudrow’s off-screen friend Aisha Tyler, who recently had a recurring role on Friends.
