Beyonce will battle it out with Dido and Rachel Stevens to land the title of Record Of The Year, it was announced today.

Beyonce will battle it out with Dido and Rachel Stevens to land the title of Record Of The Year, it was announced today.

They are on a shortlist of 10 acts with singles up for the annual ITV1 vote to find the most popular single of the past 12 months.

Viewers will choose their favourite track in a live vote on Saturday night.

Last year, the prize went to Gareth Gates’s Unchained Melody, just pipping Will Young’s Evergreen.

Cat Deeley will introduce the 10 songs in a programme to be screened at 5.45pm, with the results at 9.30pm.
