Jackson video 'exclusive' for revamped TOTP
Long-running television chart show Top of the Pops was being relaunched today with a one-hour special.
The revamped programme will kick off with an âexclusive lookâ at under-fire Michael Jacksonâs new video, coinciding with the release of his album Number Ones.
The singerâs number one position in the album charts shows sales have not been dented by an investigation into child molestation allegations.
Jackson is also tipped to make the top five of the singles chart this weekend with his track One More Chance.
The reborn pop show, the All New Top Of The Pops, will in future be broadcast live.
Guests today include Victoria Beckham, who will give viewers the chance to choose which of two tracks on her double A-side single she should perform on a future show.
Sir Elton John will be performing live from Atlanta with a rendition of Your Song, which was the second track he played on TOTP, in 1970.
Kylie Minogue will be in the studio, and The Darknessâs new video for their festive recording Christmas Time (Donât Let The Bells End) will have its premiere.
