Artist Damien Hirst has bought back a dozen of his works from collector Charles Saatchi.

The multi-million pound deal comes amid a simmering feud between the two men.

Hirst has bought back 12 pieces from Saatchi which have been on display at the Saatchi Gallery in London’s County Hall.

But Saatchi has hung on to Hirst’s most famous works, the shark pickled in formaldehyde.

His pickled sheep, the Mini covered in his signature dots and an anatomical figure called Hymn will also be staying, a spokeswoman for the gallery said.
