Carreras cries off in Singapore

Spanish tenor Jose Carreras has cancelled a Singapore concert scheduled for tomorrow without explanation, promoters said, citing “unforeseen circumstances and difficulties”.

The concert was to have been the last stop on a seven-city Asian tour. Carreras was in Australia when the decision to cancel was made.
