McGregor motoring for Joey Dunlop film

Rumours are abounding that Scots actor Ewan McGregor - he of Star Wars fame - is being lined up to play Joey Dunlop in the film of the great Ulster motor-cycling ace who died in a tragic accident a couple of years ago.

Makers Parallel are keeping all their plans close to the proverbial chest, but McGregor is running favourite for the role.
