Les Miserables moves to new home

Long-running stage show Les Miserables is to move to a new home after 18 years, it was announced today.

The show will leave London’s Palace Theatre at the end of March and move around 200 metres to the Queen’s Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue the following month.

The transfer will allow essential renovation work to take place at the theatre.

The work has been put off for many years because of the show’s extraordinarily lengthy run.
