Salma Hayek and Colin Farrell to star in new drama

Salma Hayek has teamed up with Colin Farrell for new drama Ask The Dust.

The actress will play fiery Mexican beauty Camilla, who hopes to rise above her station by marrying a wealthy American.

But matters are complicated when she meets Arturo Bandini, played by Farrell - a first-generation Italian hoping to land a writing career and a blue-eyed blonde on his arm.

The DreamWorks movie is an adaptation of John Fante's Depression Era novel, and will be directed by Robert Towne.

Shooting begins in South Africa early next year, reports Variety.com.
