Snapper accused over topless Diaz pictures

A photographer accused of trying to extort £2m (€2.85m) from film star Cameron Diaz for topless photographs taken before she was famous threatened to sell them for £3m (€4.3m) in Europe, an investigator testified today.

Detective Brian Bennett, of the Los Angeles district attorney’s office, said during a preliminary hearing for John Rutter that the “majority” of the 20 photos depicted Diaz topless.
