Taoiseach contributes to CD of Irish poems

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has made a contribution to a CD of Irish poems recorded in aid of the homeless charity Focus Ireland.

Mr Ahern recorded the poem in memory of his mother, who died in 1988.

Other contributors to the CD include Bono, Bob Geldof, Pierce Brosnan, Niall Quinn, Gay Byrne and Enya.
