Rolling Stones fans upset

Rolling Stones fans accused a housing developer of “caving in” to residents who objected to a street being named after the band’s late guitarist, Brian Jones.

The chairman of the Cheltenham branch of the Brian Jones Fan Club, Nigel Jones, who is also the Liberal Democrat MP for the town, said fans saw the decision by Bryant Homes to rename Brian Jones Close as a “slap in the face”.
