Julia Roberts 'desperate' to have kids

Julia Roberts, who married cameraman Danny Moder last year, says she is desperate to have children.

“I can’t wait to have kids… I just can’t wait to hold a baby in my arms,” she says in an interview with Oprah Winfrey's O magazine.

The Oscar-winning actress also denies the ongoing rumours that she caused the breakup of Moder's marriage to his wife Vera.

“He sorted his whole thing out, separate and apart from me. And I sorted my life out, separate and apart from him,” she said.

“I think that’s the only reason we were able to ultimately fall in love with each other and be together.”

Roberts also comments on the idea that the rich and famous have problems when they marry someone who is not so famous.

“The jobs don’t get married, the people get married,” she said.

“I do think I am fundamentally the same, relatively simple person I’ve always been. I just have this flashy, wacky job that confuses people into thinking that I’m somehow ultra-fascinating.”
