Irish comedian begins Blaine-type stunt on banks of Liffey
An Irish comedian has begun a David Blaine-style stunt on the banks of River Liffey to raise money for charity.
Dave Young is planning to spend 44 hours suspended in a box on Dublinās Sir John Rogersonās Quay.
He entered the box yesterday evening and will remain there until tomorrow afternoon.
Mr Young is spending his time in the box living in the lap of luxury, unlike David Blaine, who staved himself for 44 days in a test of endurance.
āIām not starving, Iām not doing this for myself or three of four million like he did,ā Mr Young said today.
āIām doing this for the homeless. The objective of this is to raise money for the homeless.ā
