Out-takes added to quiz show
Fans of satirical quiz Have I Got News For You will be chuckling after TV bosses agreed to lengthen the show each week with out-takes.
Although the Friday night BBC1 edition will remain half an hour, the Saturday repeat on BBC2 will contain an extra five minutes from tomorrow.
The expanded show – called Have I Got A Little Bit More News For You – will contain more quickfire wit from captains Paul Merton and Ian Hislop and their guests.
BBC2 controller Jane Root said: “For anyone who wonders what ends up on the cutting room floor of Have I Got News For You, this is the programme for you.”
