Banderas set to don Zorro's mask again

Antonio Banderas, who provides the voice for the sword-fighting Puss In Boots in Shrek 2, is preparing for a second round of live-action swordplay.

The Spanish-born actor is in negotiations to begin filming the sequel to 1998’s The Mask Of Zorro next spring.

“The script is fantastic,” Banderas tells USA Today. “Way better than the first one. Everyone will be back – executive producer Steven Spielberg, director Martin Campbell and Catherine Zeta Jones.”

Even Zorro’s late mentor, Don Diego, played by Anthony Hopkins, returns. “He has a lot more to tell me,” says Banderas. “It has a supernatural element.”
