Schwimmer 'to walk up aisle'

David Schwimmer will be the next Friends star to walk down the aisle.

According to imdb.com, the 37-year-old actor, who plays hapless Ross Geller on the phenomenally popular hit series, has proposed to university student girlfriend Carla Alapont. The two are already planning their wedding but are hoping to keep the plans secret.

A source told America's The Globe magazine, "They don't want to wait too long to get married. They told me it will be early in the new year."

Schwimmer’s past loves included Natalie Imbruglia, lawyer Sarah Trimble and Stargate star Mili Avital.
