Fame Academy star quits

Fame Academy winner David Sneddon confirmed tonight he is quitting his career as a pop star to concentrate on songwriting.

The 25-year-old Scot won the inaugural series of the BBC talent contest last year and since then has enjoyed two top 10 singles.
