Cowell can shove it, says Britney
Britney Spears has offered Pop Idol hopefuls a tip on how to deal with Simon Cowell’s putdowns: “Take his advice and tell him to shove it!”
The star said she would give the show’s Mr Nasty a mouthful if he tried to slate her singing.
“Everyone has an opinion. Sometimes you’re not the greatest in the world,” she said, but added: “I would take his advice and whatever he said and tell him to shove it!”
The 21-year-old pop princess said she was a fan of Pop Idol, which has also been a massive hit in the US.
“I think it’s a cool thing, I think it’s inspiring for kids. I think people watch that and it gives them hope. You see these kids, they’re hungry and they’re inspired and motivated,” she said.
Britney, whose new single Me Against The Music is out next week, is planning to follow in Madonna's footsteps by moving to Britain.
She said: “I went to London last week and it’s so cool there. I’m thinking of moving there. It’s really beautiful. I love it there.”
