Phil Mitchell voted TV's most scary

Phil Mitchell has given Den Watts a walloping – by beating him to the title of TV’s scariest star.

The EastEnders hardnut beat recently risen from the grave Watts in a poll organised by retailer Woolworths, landing a quarter of the votes.

Walford wifebeater Trevor Morgan was in third place to give an Albert Square top three.

Coronation Street’s serial killer Richard Hillman was ranked fourth in the scary list, to mark Halloween later this month.

A spokeswoman for Woolworths said: “The reaction to Phil and Den’s duel in Eastenders has been amazing.”
