Disney 'may cut ties with Miramax'
Executives at the Walt Disney Co are reportedly concerned at the violence in Quentin Tarintino's Kill Bill and are considering ending their relationship with Miramax, the film’s producer and Disney subsidiary.
Disney chief executive Michael Eisner is said to have been particularly uncomfortable with Tarantino’s comments in London, when he urged boys and girls to see the film, promising them “a damned good time”.
Internet gossip Matt Drudge quotes a Disney source as saying: “Kill Bill has led to a deep reassessment of the situation and relationship with Miramax.”
