Kensit makes West End debut alongside Ardal
Actress Patsy Kensit was making her West End debut tonight alongside Ardal O'Hanlon at the premiere of a comedy in which she plays a mistress.
The 35-year-old is appearing with Nigel Havers in See You Next Tuesday at the Albery Theatre in London.
The show also stars Irish comedian Ardal O’Hanlon of Father Ted fame as an unsuspecting accountant Francois Pignon, who crosses paths with Havers.
Kensit’s previous stage experience includes a role in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Richard III.
She has also appeared in the films Lethal Weapon II, Absolute Beginners and The One and Only.
Kensit was a child actress and starred with Robert Redford in the screen adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.
But she has become best known for three failed marriages to musicians, most recently Liam Gallagher of Oasis.
After her turbulent relationship with Gallagher finally ended, Kensit had a brief fling with soccer pundit Ally McCoist.
See You Next Tuesday has been adapted by Ronald Harwood, who picked up a best screenplay Oscar for The Pianist.
