Schwimmer has plans once Friends ends

Friends star David Schwimmer has already mapped out what he will do when the hit series finishes later this year.

He has bought the rights to develop a television version of the book, How To Remodel A Man as a half hour comedy series which he will also direct.

Due to be published next year, the book takes a comedic look at ways men might reinvent themselves when seeking to attract the opposite sex.

The television version will focus on a divorced young man who relies on the women in his life to help him re-examine his relationships.

“Guys don’t like to be changed and this is just a fun, fresh opportunity to look at and examine the process of that kind of remodelling,” said Schwimmer.
