Bianca Jagger sues landlord

Bianca Jagger is suing her New York landlord for more than €17m, complaining that her Park Avenue apartment is infested with toxic mould.

The 58-year-old former wife of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger accused the owner and managing agents of her Manhattan building of negligence, breach of contract and fraud.

She said in court papers that she had been constructively evicted because water leaks and mould contamination made the apartment uninhabitable.

She told the New York Times that she had endured a "difficult" summer partly because "my apartment has poisonous mould."

Jagger is being sued by the owner of the apartment for non-payment of several months of the €3,400 monthly rent.
