Barrymore pulls out of comeback show

Michael Barrymore has pulled out of his West End comeback show claiming the pressure of the last two years had taken its toll.

Moments before he was due on stage last night the troubled comedian told producers that he could no longer continue his stand-up routine after a series of critical reviews and poor ticket sales.
