Veronica Guerin chosen to close prestigious film festival

The critically acclaimed Irish film Veronica Guerin has been chosen to close the prestigious 20th EuropaCinema Film Festival on Saturday September 27.

Starring Cate Blanchett and the ubiquitous Farrell, and telling the story of murdered Irish journalist Guerin, the film will receive its Italian premiere in the Festival’s glamorous, if slightly dated, seaside location of Viareggio.
