McGregor defends raunchy sex scenes

Moulin Rouge star Ewan McGregor has defended his raunchy sex scenes in his new move "Young Adam" because they show sex in a realistic way.

He feels this realism will make "Young Adam" much more accessible to viewers than a typical Hollywood movie, according to imdb.com.

He says, "The scenes in Young Adam are quite hardcore and I think that's a good thing, that gone are the kind of Eighties glistening body scenes in Hollywood where everybody comes together. That's not my experience in the real world. What we were trying to do was to make them realistic so they're often messy or quick, or clumsy and dirty and disgusting."
