Wearable art launched by David Bowie
Legendary photographer Mick Rock in tandem with long term collaborator and friend David Bowie today launches an exclusive limited edition of "wearable art" t-shirts available only at http://www.davidbowie.com/.
Created in celebration of David Bowie’s forthcoming Reality World Tour, the shirts display one of three distinctive images from Rock’s collection of images taken whilst accompanying the original Ziggy Stardust tours in the early seventies.
The designs feature era defining images including the infamous "guitar fellatio" shot of Bowie and Spiders guitarist Mick Ronson at Oxford Town Hall in June 1972 as well as artwork especially created by the photographer.
The specially designed and packaged shirts are manufactured in conjunction with specialist music merchandising company Famulus Editions of London and will only be available in limited editions of 500, initially offered exclusively online only to the registered members of http://www.davidbowie.com/.
