Cash dies in hospital

Country music legend Johnny Cash has died at a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, his manager said.

Johnny Cash, a towering figure in American music spanning country, rock and folk and known worldwide as The Man in Black, has died in hospital. He was 71.

Hospital officials in Nashville, Tennessee, said he died of complications from diabetes.
