Raunchy scenes a new challenge for Meg Ryan

Super sweet Meg Ryan admits it was a little hard filming her first explicit love scenes in her new movie ‘In The Cut’.

Taking a break from her usual light roles to film ‘The Piano’ director Jane Campion vehicle Ryan says she knows her getting naked will shock some of her fans. But since she completely trusted Campion it made it much easier to peel off her clothes.

The intense role was originally intended for Nicole Kidman but she pulled out after her break-up with Tom Cruise, according to imdb.com.

Meg Ryan told journalists at the Toronto Film Festival, where ‘In The Cut’ made its debut: "I think the scenes are really good though, I think they're very honest. Jane didn't want them to be coy, so I don't think they are at all.

"And I love how much dialogue is in those scenes. That's what makes them really intimate. It was the right movie with the right director and the right character. I've seen her movies before and I think she's very trustworthy."
