Singer's parents settle over plane crash tragedy
The parents of rhythm and blues singer and actress Aaliyah have reached an undisclosed settlement in a negligence action over her death in plane crash, family lawyers say.
A chartered Cessna 402B carrying 22-year-old Aaliyah and eight others crashed shortly after take-off on a flight from Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas to the Miami suburb of Opa-locka in 2001.
