Madonna kiss 'will last me a while': Britters

Britney Spears can get a lot of mileage from a kiss.

The pop star was asked about her MTV Music Awards smooch with Madonna during a news conference in Washington promoting Thursday night’s National Football League kickoff celebration.

Spears will headline the event, along with Aerosmith, Mary J. Blige, Good Charlotte and Aretha Franklin.

Spears said she left the United States for England immediately after the August 28 awards show and was unaware of all the media attention the kiss received.

She said it was unrehearsed and that it was the first time she had kissed a woman.

Would she do it again?

“I hadn’t kissed anyone in a long time,” she responded, ”so that should last me for a while.”
