Tourist chiefs today took advantage of one of the most eagerly awaited showbiz weddings of the year to drum up a bit of extra business.

Stars arrived on the Isle of Bute in Scotland for the wedding of designer Stella McCartney – the daughter of ex-Beatle Sir Paul – to her publisher boyfriend Alasdhair Willis.
