Norton 'urging Love into rehab'
Hollywood star Edward Norton is reportedly so worried about his ex-girlfriend Courtney Love's behaviour that he is urging her to enter a rehabilitation clinic.
The actor, who remains friends with his former flame of four years, has been pleading with her to seek help, according to the New York Post.
In June, Love issued a public apology to Norton and his ex-girlfriend Salma Hayek after she told a newspaper that Norton would "never marry" the Mexican actress because "he can barely understand what she’s saying".
Last week she told the New York police that Virgin Records executive Josh Deutsch slapped in her the face, and the next day denied the alleged assault ever happened, saying the police had misunderstood her.
This week she dropped out of the MTV Video Music Awards, allegedly after a row over her €14,000 hair extensions.
Last February, Love was arrested and held for 12 hours after she swore at a Virgin Airlines flight attendant who refused to let her bring her psychiatric nurse into first class. After apologising to Virgin boss Richard Branson, she was welcomed back to fly on the airline.
